This October, Lakeville Rotary is helping local children get the everyday essentials they need to feel confident, comfortable, and ready to learn.
We’re partnering with Cheer For The Children, an organization that provides personal care and other essential items to Minnesota schools for students in need. With 1 in 9 Minnesota children living in poverty, access to basic hygiene products can make a meaningful difference.

Mission Nutrition 2026: Together We Pack!
Lakeville Rotary is once again joining forces with the Lakeville Lions for Mission Nutrition 2026, a community-wide meal-packing event that brings neighbors together to help fight hunger right here at home.

Join us on Saturday, November 14, at the Lakeville Heritage Center, 20110 Holyoke Avenue, as volunteers work side-by-side to pack 14,250 meals—equal to 85,500 servings. With two volunteer shifts available, the goal is to bring together 200 community volunteers for a day of service and impact.

The meals packed during Mission Nutrition will benefit 360 Communities, Lakeville Messiah Food Shelf, The Open Door, The Link, and CAP Agency, helping provide nutritious food to individuals and families throughout our community. missionnutritionflyer2026

Lakeville Rotary was proud to once again participate in the Crutches 4 Africa collection effort, helping restore mobility, independence, and dignity to individuals in need.

This year, 23 Rotary clubs joined forces to collect nearly 3,000 mobility devices. Over the weekend, volunteers worked together to completely fill a 53-foot trailer, which departed Monday morning bound for Mexico with 2,680 mobility devices and supplies.

What was shipped:

• 163 Wheelchairs
• 489 Crutches
• 251 Canes
• 404 Walkers
• 208 Rollators & Knee Carts
• 973 Soft Goods (braces, supports, and related items)
• 186 Wheelchair Parts
• 4 Prosthetic Legs
• 2 Jogging Strollers

Total Items Shipped: 2,680

A huge thank you to all of the volunteers, donors, and participating Rotary clubs who made this life-changing project possible. Together, we’re helping people regain mobility and improve their quality of life.
