For the month of January Katarina Vandenbos has been chosen as the January Rotary Student of the Month for Lakeville North High School. Katarina’s parents are Robert & Pauline Vandenbos and her Dean is Holly Standke. 

 

Katarina is currently enrolled as a full time Post-Secondary student at the University of Minnesota/Carlson School of Management.  She maintains a high GPA, 4.376 and ranks 7 in a class of 455.  At Lakeville North High School, Katarina is a peer Tutor currently and has been since grade 9.  She is the President of the National Honor Society, a Debate Captain, Senior Class Officer and a member of Student Council and Student Voices Member.

 

Outside Lakeville North High School, Katarina is a teacher’s assistance, helping teachers with various tasks.  She was a Minnesota House of Representatives High School Page Program Participant.  Katarina was a participant in the North Star Rotary Youth Exchange Program.  For ISD 194 Community Education, Katarina is a lead instructor and lifeguard for summer swim.  She is a board member for 360 Communities. 

 

For the month of January John Olson has been chosen as the January Rotary Student of the Month for Lakeville South High School. John’s parents are: Georgetta and John Olson and his Dean is John Boche.
