Rotary Students of the Month-Sept 2018
Ashley Wells and Hayden Epinette

Lakeville Rotary Club September 2018 Students of the Month.

Each month of the school year, the Lakeville Rotary Club recognizes students of the senior class who demonstrate “Service Above Self”.

For the month of September Hayden Epinette is to be recognized as the LSHS Rotary Student of the Month.  Hayden’s parents are David and Lisa Epinette and Dean Shaun Murphy.

Hayden Epinette is one of the most intelligent students to ever attend Lakeville South High School. During his academic career, he has taken 15 AP classes and has so far aced them all. In addition, while many seniors are taking a lighter schedule during their last year of high school, Hayden has enrolled in 6 AP classes. Hayden has a 4.5 GPA and achieved a perfect score of a 36 on his ACT.

Many would think that a guy like Hayden Epinette has zero time for anything but academics, but that is not the case. Hayden is the Football Statistician, a key member of our Lakeville South Band, and an avid Fantasty Football Player. He is a role model student that others look up to.

Lakeville North High School will recognize Ashley Wells as the Lakeville North High School Rotary Student of the Month for September.  Ashley’s parents are Grant & Karla Wells and her Dean is Holly Standke.

Ashley is a passionate and service-driven student and acts as a leader in all aspects of her life.  At Lakeville North High School, Ashley maintains a high GPA as well as being the President of HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America).  She is involved in Youth Teaching Youth as well as a member of Best Buddies.  She also had the opportunity to become a student athletic trainer.

Outside school hours, Ashley volunteers to assist fellow students as a Peer tutor for Math, Spanish and Science.  She is also involved with Southview Elementary school where she teaches children how to read.  Ashley volunteers at a Kids Club for an outreach program intended to spread kindness, solid morals, and positive life habits.
