 Lakeville Rotary Club Foundation drive will continue through Thursday, November 18th.  All donations given to The Rotary Foundation Annual Fund during the drive will be matched up to $110 by Lakeville Rotary Club.
  • *New Rotarians who joined since July 1, 2021, your club Initiation fee covers a $30 Rotary International Foundation donation.
     
    How are donations made:
    • Foundation Team will have copies of the attached form available at meetings.
    • Members can give using the contribution form and mail or give to Kathy, to mail, to The Rotary Foundation, or they can make a payment online at www.myrotary.org/give.  One note: you do need a My Rotary account to give through Rotary Direct, so CLICK HERE for easy set-up instructions.

LAKEVILLE ROTARY FOUNDATION  GRANT CHECK PRESENTATION

11.4.21
Jay Young presented a $9000 grant check to Communities 360 for their Partners for Success program. the program family support workers develop trust with families and deliver stabilizing resources. This support lays the foundation for academic success from kindergarten through high school. The program is currently in 9 Lakeville schools. 
 
 
This grant was matched by a local Rotarian. If you are interested in matching a grant contact Jay Young.

Fall Road Cleanup Hwy 50

Thanks to Richard Henderson  as he assembled a small but effective group of Rotarians for the October 26, 2021, Lakeville Rotary Hwy 50 road cleanup.
 
New Rotarian Steve Swanson and his family (wife Nicole and 3 kids oldest to youngest Logan, Charlotte aka Charlie and Josephine) joined the group. A big thank you to the Swanson crew!  
 
Thanks to Richard Henderson, Adam Amys, Ken Wentworth, Steve Volavka , Jim Christian, Dan Ringstad and Greg Peterka as well.
 
Rotarian Char Dennhardt happened to be in the Southfork CVS parking lot when we assembled and kindly snapped the photos and gave 5 of us a ride in her pick up truck south on Hwy 50 to Kenwood Trail Middle School and dropped us off to make the 1-hour walk and cleanup back to Southfork Center and Green Mill for some delicious food, beverages and great conversation.
