Speaker - Dr. Linden Dungy
Dr. Linden Dungy, Greg LaMere

Dan Vlasak introduced our speaker, Linden Dungy, a graduate of Jackson Parkside High School in 1977, has been a licensed and practicing dentistry since 1987. He has received a B.S. degree in Chemistry from Grand Valley State University (Allendale, MI -1982) and a D.D.S. degree from the University of Minnesota (Minneapolis, MN -1986). Dr. Linden Dungy has been in the field of dentistry since 1987. He has worked as an associate in private dentistry. He has worked as an instructor at the University of Minnesota’s School of Dentistry for eight years. Dr. Dungy also worked for six years in several community clinics that where designed for outreach to the financially disadvantaged. Three of those years, he served as dental director of Model Cities Health Center (now called Open Cities Health Center) in St. Paul, MN. Dr. Dungy also spent one year as a board member for the South Side Community Clinic, Inc. Dr. Dungy has spent over 11 years in group practice here in the Twin Cities, working for both Metro Dentalcare and Park Dental. His experience also includes working in group practice here in the Twin Cities, being employed by two of the largest group practices in Minnesota, which are Metro Dentalcare and Park Dental.

All these experiences prepared Dr. Dungy for the challenges of ownership and leadership at Immanuel Dental. Dr. Dungy, founder and owner of Immanuel Dental (incorporated in 2005) carries out the duties of C.E.O. and over seer of everyday operations.

The Dungy Family Foundation believes in strengthening, sustaining and empowering communities by providing opportunities to those in need. This is done through educational, emotional and/or financial support and the ability to give opportunity to those that in turn will respond in kind to give back to the communities they grow up and live in.
