"It Happened in Shanksville"

Marshall Cook will present on the Flight 93 crash in PA on 9/11.

For the past 17 years, some of the wreckage of Flight 93 has sat in secure storage as federal investigators investigated the 9/11 terror attacks while the National Park Service readied the memorial site near Shanksville, Somerset County.

Now the remaining wreckage of the Boeing 757 will be returned to the Flight 93 National Memorial in Somerset County later this year. The announcement was made Friday morning by the National Park Service.

Marshall S. Cook, M.D. is a retired USAF Colonel (Medical Corps) and Internal Medicine Physician. Dr. Cook joined Lakeville Rotary this past fall after transferring from  the Rotary Club of Orofino, ID (District 5080). In Orofino he was the Club President in 2004-2005 and 2nd time Club President in 2014-2015. He served as Assistant District 5080 Governor, Area 9 in 2005-2008.  Dr. Cook is a Multiple Paul Harris Fellow and Major Donor.  
 
Marshall  was originally from Lincoln, NE and as a teen he had the opportunity to live in many areas. Marshall attended the University of Nebraska where he majored in Zoology and went on to medical school and the US Air Force.
 
He has been married to his wife Margaret over 50 years and they have two daughters and two grandchildren.
