For the month of November Noah Gallagher will be recognized as the Lakeville North Rotary Student of the Month. Noah’s parents are Jean & Ralph Gallagher and his Dean is Dan McNulty. Noah has been chosen due to his high GPA and is currently ranked number 4 in his class of 461. Noah has completed the U of M’s Talented Young Mathematicians Program, a five-year math course that takes students through multivariable calculus. Noah is a National Merit Scholar, Commended student. He is also an AP Scholar with Distinction. At Lakeville North, Noah has been in Debate for 4 years, 2 years as captain. He has qualified to the national tournament, as well as reaching quarterfinals of the state tournament. Noah has been on the Speech team for 4 years, and attended the state tournament in Extemporaneous speaking last year. Noah is a Card Club member. He is a member of the National Honor Society. Noah is a peer tutor and a regular volunteer at Feed my Starving Children. Lakeville South will recognize Haeley Keilen as the November Student of the Month. Haeley’s mother is Tami Keilen and her Dean is Dr. Dana Kelly. Haeley is highly regarded for her excellence in the classroom and her outstanding citizenship. Haeley has built a strong foundation of excellent college readiness skills through the Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) program. She took advantage of the many aspects of the program: strong organizational skill development, ACT preparation, rigorous course support, note-taking improvement, community involvement activities, etc. Haeley currently has a cumulative GPA of 3.96 and ranks 69 out of a highly competitive class of 461 students. Not only is Haeley extremely passionate about academics and learning, she found leading her peers in many clubs such as SADD, Key Club, Campus Faith Club rewarding and a natural fit for her. Haeley dedicated her non-study time to volunteering at local food shelves and helping disabled adults. Whatever the activity or cause, Haeley seeks for inclusion and advocates for human rights. Haeley is committed to making everyone feel valued in our school’s community.
