Speaker Chris Galler
Greg LaMere , Chris Galler

Colleen LaBeau introduced our speaker Chris Galler, CEO of Minnesota Assocations of Realtors. Chris was a speaker at one of our meetings during the downturn in the economy and is was nice to have him back to share his insights on today's market.

In today's market many people will tell you that selling your home is easy but buying isn't.  Many buyers are staying place and only will commit to make a move only if they themselves can find a house to buy.  One of the reasons is that the market is seeing a trend to more conservative buyers who understand and express the max they are willing to spend in the market.

Chris shared that baby boomers are not downsizing but staying in their homes and the market is noticing a delay in trends as millennials are not investing nor showing the same level of interest in the market as seen in the past.
