For the month of February Lakeville South High School has chosen Kristin Anton as the Rotary Student of the Month at Lakeville South High School for February. Kristin has a 4.28 GPA and is a National Merit Semi Finalist. Beyond the classroom, Kristin is the captain of our Math League, member of our Science Olympiad, Volunteering Club, SADD, Art Club, and French Club.

Not only is Kristin an extraordinary student in math and science, but she is also a gifted artist.  Kristin’s Dean Shaun Murphy commented that he has encountered very few students in his career that encompass such vast skills in the arts and math and science such as Kristin.  Kristin values the idea of service above self. She tutors students after school and in her spare time she has volunteered to paint two murals at Lakeville South High School and another two more at an ice cream shop in downtown Lakeville.  Kristin’s parents are Paul and Karin Anton and her Dean is Shaun Murphy.
