JANUARY 2015 ROTARY STUDENTS OF THE MONTH
 
Each month of the school year, the Lakeville Rotary Club recognizes students of the senior class who demonstrate “Service Above Self”. 
 
For the month of December Lakeville North High School has chosen
Nathaniel Anderson as the Rotary Student of the Month at Lakeville North High School for January. Nathaniel has been chosen for his high academics; he is currently 3rd in his class and has a high GPA.  Nathaniel is involved in extracurricular activities and a strong leader at Lakeville North.
 
He is a member of the Now & Then Singers, as well as a baseball player and a basketball intramural player this year.  Nathaniel is on the school newspaper staff, a member of Student Council, the treasurer for National Honor Society and a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
 
Outside of Lakeville North High School, Nathaniel is in the youth group at church, works at Chick-Fil-A and does volunteering.  He volunteers at Habitat for Humanity chapter at LNHS, at Vacation Bible School at church and volunteers in “Children’s Church”. Nathaniel’s parents are Philip and Kathleen Anderson and his Dean is Cheryl Meger.
 
For the month of January, Liliann Mueller has been chosen for the Rotary Student of the Month from Lakeville South High School. Liliann is truly an outstanding young woman with an extremely bright future.  She has an amazing resume including: National Merit Semi-finalist, AP Scholar, 35 ACT composite score,4.34 GPA,11 Advance Placement courses, Soccer participant, Basketball participant, National Honor Society, Math League Captain, Chemistry Club, Cougars Leading Cougars, Habitat for Humanity volunteer,  Feed My Starving Children volunteer, and Bible School Leader.
Liliann plans on pursuing a degree in Biochemical Engineering while attending a high competitive university.  She has already been accepted to MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) and plans to make a decision soon.  Liliann’s parents are Brad and Kimberly Mueller.  Liliann’s dean is John Boche.
