NOVEMBER 2014 ROTARY STUDENTS OF THE MONTH

Each month of the school year, the Lakeville Rotary Club recognizes students of the senior class who demonstrate “Service Above Self”. 
 
For the month of November Lakeville North High School has chosen
Noah Omdal as the Rotary Student of the Month at Lakeville North High School for November.  Noah is a very strong student in leadership, academics and volunteer service.  Noah has been a two year captain on his cross country team.
 
Noah has a GPA of 4.35 and ranks number 1 of 454 in his class at Lakeville North High School.  Noah has enrolled in 36 honors and advanced placement classes during his time at Lakeville North.  Along with his academics, Noah is heavily involved in activities.  He is on the track team, speech team, student council, National Honor Society, math league and school magazine club. 
 
Noah has done various volunteer service hours at Fairview Ridges Hospital and youth coaching.   Noah would like to study medicine or engineering at college.
 
Noah’s parents are Christopher & Tammy Omdal and his Dean his Cary Zahn. 
 
For the month of November, Jordan Ferrazzo was nominated at Lakeville South High School as Student of the Month. While Jordan’s main focus is academic achievement, she has demonstrated extraordinary leadership in a variety of extracurricular activities, such as Health Occupation Students of America, National Honor Society Member, and Cougars Leading Cougars. In addition, Jordan volunteers extensively in the community at Habitat for Humanity- Lakeville Chapter Discipleship Group at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church and Senior High Ministry (SHM). Her wealth of leadership experience will serve her well in her future career in the biomedical engineering/neuroscience field. Jordan's parents are Michael and Susan Ferrazzo and her Dean is Dana Cronin.
